Skills in a Box is a way to support your child’s developmental skills at the convenience of your home.
When creating Skills in a Box, one of my main goals was to help parents and educators understand the importance of looking at the child as a whole. Utilizing a bottom-up approach and the concepts of the Learning Pyramid theory, I designed these boxes so parents can start supporting their children developmental skills in sequential order, strengthening the underlying skills, and building their child’s success, one box at a time.
Great ideas! I enjoy learning new activities that provide input – a box is a good way to constantly get new ideas!
We loved all the activities and both of our kids were able to engage in the activities! We loved it!!
My boys were really excited to get the box. I think it’s a great concept. I like that there’s a lot of activities to choose from and that some activities are very physical and some were not as physical. Their favorite activities were the bean bags and the ball activities as well as the tic tac toe.
